Do you deserve it?

Friday, February 20th, 2009

Marketing Guru / All-Round Guru Seth Godin seems to be in the business of regularly handing my ass back to me. Whether on his blog or in books that he has authored or co-authored, like The Big Moo he reaches this Goldilocks-like balancing point of common sense, wisdom, shame-on-you, and inspiration.

In his today’s post entitled Do you deserve it, he reinforces the fact that it’s not about egos, reputations; it’s not even about intelligence or ability – It’s about results.

Or, How the West was Won.

For anyone who needs to make a quick color decision, I definitely recommend the Martha Stewart ColorsĀ© paint swatches from Valspar & Lowe’s.

What’s great about these cards is rather than give a few point along a gradient for you to choose which exact tone you like best, each is has 2 stripes of color that round out a perfectly balanced theme.

Try it on your next site.

The Unfinished Swan is a fantastic concept for a game and original use of the first-person format. The site (http://iandallas.com/games/swan/) has gone down due to traffic increases from recent web exposure, so for now, you can use the Google Cache
