Wombat (link coming soon) & I just saw David Sedaris (link, wikipedia link).

He read from recent and soon to be released New Yorker articles, and his diaries; he also took questions from the audience. This is one funny guy, Artemus Ham Concert Hall was very well packed, and he kept us on the ropes for over 90 minutes.

He took the liberty of recomending the audio versions of all works by Alan Bennett (wikipedia link). I always love finding out who impresses those who impress me. Apparently his audio books can be got via audible.com.
