Balsa Adirondack Chair

I just finished today’s project; I hope you like it!

Maybe I felt a need for revenge against my craft wood after yesterday’s partial failure, but I felt like giving wood another go. After work I spent some time thinking about some nice scene or object with nice lines or a familiar look that might pose some challenge to build.

I settled on an adirondack-style beach chair.

Overall, it took about 4 hours to complete. After taking these shots I was showing it off; It started to slip out of my hand & I reflexively grabbed it, but crushed the arm rests & split the seat back. Maybe I’ll fix it tomorrow if tomorrow’s project goes well enough. Night-Night now.
